Boca Grande-Charlotte Harbor Fishing Report

Boca Grande-Charlotte Harbor redfish with Capt. Mark BennettPretty good day again today.  There were quite a few redfish around.  We caught a couple in about every spot we hit.  Even though we were catch and release fishing, all of the fish today were slot sized (18″-27″).  With the approaching cold front upon us for Sunday I expect tomorrow to be even better than today.  First thing this morning we had the top of the incoming.  We fished outside points and holes off of the outer bars.  When the tide started to go out we switched gears and fished a creek mouth before heading in about 1pm or so.
