Crazy weather for the start of the Boca Grande/Charlotte Harbor leg of our season. High winds from the south have kept us at the dock a few days. On the better days we have definitely caught our share of tarpon. It looks like it is going to get a lot better for the weekend. Hopefully the weather holds for a while.
Here in the Boca Grande area peak tarpon season is May-August. I am still open June 27th. I have a few more openings in July and August as well.
In 2016 we had another great fall season tarpon fishing in the Everglades. As usual the fall migration did not disappoint. We are excited to see what the fall 2017 will bring. It doesn’t matter if you fish with spin or fly tackle, tarpon fishing the Everglades is an adventure you will not forget. October and November are prime time for tarpon in the Everglades. Our dates in November are already booked, but I still have some prime days left in October.
