Crazy weather for the start of the Boca Grande/Charlotte Harbor leg of our season. High winds from the south have kept us at the dock a few days. On the better days we have definitely caught our share of tarpon. It looks like it is going to get a lot better after the weekend. Hopefully it holds for a while. In the Boca Grande area peak tarpon season is May-August. If you are planning a trip to the area in search of tarpon, now is the time to get your dates for July and August in the book.
I was just cancelled May 16th and 18th. Both of those dates are now available. I also am still open June 19th, 27th and 28th.
We had another great fall season tarpon fishing in the Everglades. As usual the fall migration did not disappoint. It doesn’t matter if you fish with spin or fly tackle, tarpon fishing the Everglades is an adventure you will not forget. October and November are prime time for tarpon in the Everglades. Our dates in November are already booked, but I still have some prime days left in October.
